I am writing this in the middle of October, and so far it has been a decent autumn … but this is Ohio, and as we all know, it could snow tomorrow!

Don Jones celebrated his 80th birthday on Sept. 12. A party hosted by his wife Barbara and daughters Christy Kmetko and April Jones was held at his home. The 40 friends and relatives in attendance enjoyed dinner, reminiscing and a toast to Don. Guests of note were Tom and Pam Ward, who graduated from Tallmadge High School with Don. Don and Tom have been friends since first grade.
