The Ravenna School District is reaching out to the Ravenna Area Chamber of Commerce and its members in hopes of creating a partnership designed to help Ravenna High School’s most at-risk seniors become work-ready before graduation in May.
The school district is hoping to identify 10-15 seniors who would benefit from monthly sessions revolving around transferring current skills to the workforce, learning about resume writing and interviewing, and other lessons designed to help students be productive members of the workforce. The culminating activity would be a “speed interviewing” session in which students could interview with businesses for summer and/or long-term employment.
