- Wendy DiAlesandro

Aurora Mayor Ann Womer Benjamin on Jan. 13 announced that the Aurora Police Department has been awarded a $55,092 grant to outfit its officers with 35 new body-worn cameras.

All Aurora police officers are currently assigned body cameras and all police vehicles are outfitted with dash cameras. The city will enter into an agreement with Getac Video Solutions once the current contract expires.
