The League of Women Voters of Kent will hold its up-close candidate forum, Face 2 Face, from 9-11:30 a.m. Oct. 8 at Kent United Methodist Church, 1435 E. Main St.
Unlike a candidates’ debate or a town hall, Face 2 Face works like speed dating: Community members sit at tables, usually six or eight per table. The candidates start out with a two-minute introduction, then move from table to table until each contender has visited each table.
