Local glass artist Henry Halem will be the featured speaker at the next Tap Talk, set for 7 p.m. June 16 at North Water Brewing Co., 101 Crain Ave. in Kent.

Halem will review America’s studio glass movement, an artistic shift that transformed glass from a mass-produced, factory made industrial commodity into a respected medium for contemporary fine art and individual sculptural expression.
