The township has been working with Portage County to get bids to have all the drainage and roads redone in Labelle Heights. The township is getting a grant from the Ohio Public Works Commission to pay for half of the cost.
“We’ll each pay $217,427.25,” township Chair Dave Kemble said. “The amount of $173,195 that we received through the Cares Act will go towards our portion of it. We’re hoping the job gets started in the fall.”
