County roundup: New restaurants coming to Brimfield, plus news from Atwater, Mogadore and Suffield

Atwater Township’s Clean-up Days will be from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, May 3 and 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 4 at Town Hall at 1219 state Route 183. Portage County Solid Waste is supplying the township with a 40-yard container to accept light-duty tires only. There is a limit of six light-duty tires per address (Atwater residents only). Residents’ cost is 50 cents per tire, and once the 40-yard container is full, no more tires will be accepted.

Residents must provide a photo ID with address for any trash drop-off. No batteries or electronics will be accepted.
