Village council passed legislation to accept the bid by Cementech for approximately $1.7 million to replace the infrastructure for Dick Street between Fenton Avenue and Pearl Avenue and to replace the infrastructure on Fenton Avenue between Mogadore Road and Curtis Street.
“They’ll be replacing the water lines and the sanitary sewer lines, and they’re going to curb the streets and replace the asphalt roads with concrete. We anticipate the job starting in September and finishing by next spring,” Mayor Mike Rick said. “Half of the cost will be paid for from a grant we received from the Ohio Public Works Commission.”
