Vandals struck the Kent city gazebo at the corner of Franklin Avenue and West Main Street, spray painting the phrase “Jesus is King” on its wooden floorboards.
Hometown Bank employee Marilyn Sessions discovered the vandalism Sept. 21 when she met with her prayer group. The group meets at the gazebo the third Wednesday of each month, but had nothing to do with the graffiti, she said.
