Around Garrettsville: Murder mystery fundraiser will benefit community cupboard, plus more news from Garrettsville

- Jackie Loreta-Rinearson

Homecoming is Friday, Oct. 4. If you’re an alumni band member, Mr. Cebulla would love to have you back to join the memorable halftime performance. If you are interested in being back on the field, contact him via email at tcebulla@jagschools.org – and don’t forget to let him know if you need an instrument.

The Nelson-Garrettsville Community Cupboard is set to host a unique and interactive murder mystery fundraiser that promises an evening of suspense, intrigue and delectable dining. This year’s event, produced by Curtains Up Theatre, will be “Murder on the 19th Hole” and takes place from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19 at Sugar Bush Golf Club in Garrettsville.
