Around Edinburg: It’s time for soccer signups at Southeast

Ready for fall 2023 soccer season? Register your child now as it closes July 20. The first game will be Aug. 19 and the last game will be Oct. 7. A tournament will be scheduled Oct. 7. This season has a minimum of seven games. All games are played on Saturday with Labor Day weekend off. Games will be played in Edinburg or Alliance. Practice days will be Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday and schedules are subject to change due to weather cancellations.

Every player will be required to have the following items at every practice and game: a water bottle, shin guards, soccer ball and approved soccer shoes. The birth matrix for the Rec team is as follows: Tenderfoot – Jan. 1 2018 to Dec. 31, 2020; U8 – Jan. 1, 2016 to Dec. 31, 2018; U10 – Jan. 1, 2014 to Dec. 31, 2015; U12 – Jan. 1, 2012 to Dec. 31, 2013; and U14 – Jan. 1, 2010 to Dec. 31, 2011.
