My home was full of Christmas joy Saturday night when Santa surprised five excited kids with a special visit. I was hosting a family dinner when, chauffeured by the Charlestown Volunteer Firefighters, Santa and Mrs. Claus rolled up in a fire truck with the lights flashing!
They were greeted at the door by my grandchildren, Duke, Sophie and Hank Ruggles and my great nieces, Tristan and Kylar Burt. Sitting by the tree, each child received their special gift from Santa. A lot of pictures were taken and then it was time for Santa to go to his next stop.
